Hi, I’m Usman 👋
My journey into travel began in childhood while growing up in New York City, where I often watched my family explore new places. Those early experiences shaped my adventurous mindset and taught me that travel isn’t just about visiting destinations—it’s about understanding cultures, people, and places on a deeper level.
I’ve always loved writing, and after years of experimenting and more than ten attempts, I launched my first successful travel blog in 2012. Since then, my passion for travel, photography, and sharing meaningful experiences has continued to grow.
My Background Story
A turning point came in September 2016. After graduating from university and working full-time in London, I felt burnt out and booked a spontaneous four-day trip to Copenhagen. At the time, the city wasn’t widely talked about—but from the moment I arrived, everything changed.
The laid-back atmosphere, cycling culture, welcoming locals, crisp Scandinavian air, and stunning architecture made me feel instantly at home. That single trip reshaped my future and sparked a deep fascination with Northern Europe.
Since then, I’ve spent most of my time exploring destinations such as Stockholm, Oslo, Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Sweden. In 2019, I achieved a long-term goal by moving to Copenhagen, and although I later returned briefly to the UK, my connection to the region only grew stronger.
Today, this passion fuels my mission: to explore, photograph, and publish practical, in-depth travel content for fellow travelers around the world.
