Coach Stores: Flagship Locations, Boutiques and What to Know
Tapestry’s annual report records that Coach finished its 2026 fiscal year, on 27 June 2026, with 973 stores under its direct operation. Of those stores, 336 are located in North America and 637 are overseas. A figure of about 1,299 stores is also quoted, but that number covers all of Tapestry’s brands rather than Coach on its own. Tapestry has reportedly indicated it intends to add around 50 net new Coach stores in fiscal 2027, with roughly three quarters of them outside North America. Inside that estate you will find flagship Coach House locations, standard full-price boutiques, department store concessions and Coach Outlet stores. As a result, a search for a coach store can surface anything from a multi-floor flagship to a unit in an outlet village. Taking it city by city, this guide looks at the most thoroughly documented locations and points out where a store’s current status remains to be checked.

New York and the Fifth Avenue Coach House
New York, where Coach was established in 1941, is home to the brand’s best-known flagship. To celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary, the Coach House at 685 Fifth Avenue opened its doors in the fall of 2016. It was reported at about 20,000 square feet across three floors, designed with William Sofield’s Studio Sofield. However, the address is not set to be a permanent home: Coach has reportedly signed a lease for about 13,200 square feet at 645 Fifth Avenue for a future Coach House. The planned move is targeted for 2027, and David Yurman is reported to have taken a lease on the 685 Fifth Avenue space, with an opening expected in early 2029. Check Coach’s store locator before a dedicated journey, since it coash is not confirmed whether the current store is still trading on a given day. Also listed on the locator is a Coach store at 20 Hudson Yards, not far from Tapestry’s headquarters at 10 Hudson Yards.
London: The Coach House on Regent Street
London’s Coach House is located at 200–206 Regent Street and opened its doors in 2016 as a global concept store. It was also created with Studio Sofield, which gives it a family resemblance to the New York flagship. Coverage at the time described a Craftsmanship Bar for monograms and personalisation. A Made to Order bar for the Rogue bag was also reported, and made-to-order Rogue pieces reportedly need around 12 weeks, or about 16 weeks with exotic skins. One retail-district listing carries a much later page date, which has led some writers to state the wrong opening year. Tapestry said on its August 2026 earnings call, according to a published transcript, that the UK, plus some wholesale business, is the only part of Europe where Coach has a material presence. Anyone planning a personalisation appointment should confirm which services are on offer at present before visiting.
Tokyo: Ginza
Coach’s main Japanese flagship is located in Tokyo’s Ginza district. The store, refreshed in 2015, goes back to the first Japanese flagship, which opened there in 2002. According to reports of the relaunch, the store reopened on 19 December 2025 at the end of a redesign by the studio CURIOSITY. Some Japanese stores reportedly are part of the Coach (Re)Loved trade-in exchange, making Japan relevant for services as well. That scheme reportedly accepts gently worn all-leather retail bags while leaving out outlet items and canvas pieces. Ask the store before bringing a bag along, because the Japanese stores taking part have not been confirmed. Hours and services are best checked shortly before a visit, just as with every flagship in this guide.
Greater China: Hong Kong, Chongqing and an Old Shanghai Record
Records for Coach’s large stores in Greater China are less complete than those for New York or London. A flagship of about 7,000 square feet opened on Huai Hai Middle Road in Shanghai in April 2010, according to a record that is now dated. It was not possible to verify its current status, so the Shanghai store should not be assumed to be open today. Coverage also indicates that Coach has a global flagship in Hong Kong and a two-storey glass flagship in Chongqing. Similarly, no opening date was confirmed for either of those two stores. The annual report shows 637 international stores within Coach’s 973 directly operated stores, although it gives no city-by-city list. Older press coverage is no substitute for Coach’s local store locator, so travellers should rely on the locator when planning a visit.
Boutiques and Concessions in Britain
Coach’s UK store locator additionally shows full-price stores outside Regent Street, with branches at Westfield London in White City and at Westfield Stratford City. Additional London locations take in St Pancras and the Promenade Level at Canary Wharf. Away from London, the documented full-price store sits at the Bullring in Birmingham. Coach also sells through concessions inside Harrods in Knightsbridge and Selfridges on Oxford Street, where a Coach Playground space has been promoted. No confirmed store was found in Manchester, Edinburgh or other cities, so check before concluding a local branch exists. This list covers the documented full-price options at the time of writing for anyone browsing coach uk locations. Each listed store has its own page on Coach’s UK website, which is the surest place to confirm hours and services.

Coach Outlet Locations
Far from being independent discounters, Coach Outlet stores belong to Coach’s own network, and Coach identifies them as outlets in its store locator. They usually are located in outlet centres, and Coach has reportedly opened Coach Coffee Shop concepts at Jersey Gardens and Woodbury Common in the United States. Confirmed and listed Coach Outlet stores in Great Britain can be found at Bicester Village, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet and Ashford Designer Outlet. Double-check before travelling to York Designer Outlet, because a store there is reported but unconfirmed. Part of the stock in outlet stores is made for the outlet channel, yet today’s mix is unknown, since the only share figure found, around 85%, goes back to 2014. Assortments also feature earlier-season styles and, under the reported “One Coach” strategy, some full-price collection product. Anyone planning a coach outlet trip should check current offers first, because promotions change and coupon-site sale calendars could not be verified.
What You Will Find Inside a Coach Store
Inside a full-price coach store, the focus is the latest handbag range, with small leather goods, clothing and shoes alongside. The Tabby was introduced in 2019, the Brooklyn debuted in August 2024 and the Empire Carryall was released in February 2025, and the three count among the recognisable bag families in 2026. Treat these as market observations rather than an official price list: observed US prices put a Tabby 26 at $475 and an Empire Carryall 34 at $450. Select stores also join the (Re)Loved trade-in, which runs in North America retail stores plus select UK and Japan stores. One membership spans both formats, since Coach Insider, the free loyalty programme, is said to cover both Coach and Coach Outlet. Since Coach says it does not authenticate merchandise, a receipt from a Coach store serves as useful proof of where a coach bag came from. Stuart Vevers, whose appointment was announced in June 2013, continues as Creative Director in 2026 and leads the creative direction.
How to Plan a Visit
Wasted journeys can be avoided with a little preparation, above all while the New York flagship is preparing for its planned move. Because Coach’s store locator lists full-price stores separately from Coach Outlet locations, begin with the version for the country you are visiting. Make sure your bag is all leather rather than canvas, and that the specific store participates, before attempting a trade-in. Check ahead of time whether a personalisation or made-to-order service is running. Tourist tax-free shopping in Great Britain came to an end on 1 January 2021, so visitors to Britain have no VAT refund to plan around. A receipt records where a bag was bought in case questions arise later, so keep every one. Before a long journey to an outlet centre, look up current promotions, since offers are updated frequently.
- Look at the store locator on the day of travel.
- Confirm that the store participates in trade-ins and that your bag is eligible.
- Personalisation services should be booked beforehand.
- Anything you buy needs a receipt filed away.
